ABOFA began as a covid project. It’s now a weekly, hour-long show that’s broadcast on radio stations right across the world and it can be heard as a podcast too on all major podcast platforms.
Meet Sandy
Sandy Kaye and like most people, She is really into the music she grew up with – the soundtrack of her life. She never seemed to grow past what she believe was the heyday of music. Of course, She is talking about the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s when music exploded and musicians weren’t afraid to try anything. These are the sounds that take me back to my youth. The Blues and R&B speak to her soul. Pop and rock reminds her exactly where she was when she first heard the tunes. Sometimes it was driving in the car, other times it was at school or university and occasionally it was when she had met a boy and they shared a kiss.
As a journalist with a long history in both radio and television here in Australia, She also extremely passionate about a good story. So, when she track down some of her favourite artists (check out the episodes tab to see who she has so far) She always try to find musicians with great back stories and ask them to tell her how or why they made their awesome music. She really want you to be both entertained and learn something new each and every time you tune in.
