A teenage boy has allegedly been stabbed multiple times at a shopping centre in Sydney’s west.
The 17-year-old was attacked at Westfield Paramatta about 4pm on Boxing Day following an argument between a number of young people.
The 17 year old was stabbed several times outside a cinema, inside the centre.
Police say the teenager sustained non-life-threatening “slash wounds” to his arms and back.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to hospital in a stable condition.
It’s believe the attack was targeted and there is no ongoing concern for the public’s safety.
“A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident has commenced,” NSW Police said.
Pictures obtained by 7NEWS show multiple drops of blood on the floor inside the centre.
Multiple emergency services vehicles were also seen outside.
