A teen will face court today after allegedly stabbing another teen in the leg following a car crash in Sydney’s west.
At about 7.40pm last Friday, November 29, a car crashed on Myrtle Street, in Prospect.
Police were told a red car had crashed into two parked cars and a power pole, while two other cars followed it.
As one of the boys from the red car tried to run, he was allegedly chased and stabbed in the leg on Oaktree Grove, Prospect.
The 16-year-old was treated by paramedics before he was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Following an investigation, police arrested another 16-year-old boy at a home in Blacktown yesterday at about 7.30pm.
He was charged with multiple offences including wounding and knife possession.
He was refused bail and will appear in court today. Police will allege the teen stabbed the other 16-year-old in the leg.
